The founder of Olyra’s family has been milling grain in Green for five generations. She crafted these breakfast biscuits out of a combination of ancient grains, fruits and spices. They say that they’re “new to shelves, but 100 years in the making.”
Olyra Breakfast Biscuits and Sandwiches are plant based, organic and all natural. They’re made with organic whole grains including barley, lupine, oats and spelt. They’re high in Vitamin B, fiber and protein. Each pack contains 5g protein, 4g fiber and only 6g sugars.
The new Trial Kit includes all six varieties. The sandwich biscuits are Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut and Cocoa and Greek Yogurt and Blueberry. The original breakfast biscuit varieties are Cinnamon Tahini, Hazelnut Carob and Fig Anise.
We like all three flavors of sandwich biscuits. Greek Yogurt Blueberry is our morning favorite and Dark Chocolate is our preferred afternoon snack. I’m not usually a chocolate in the morning person, but these do work for me! I like how they’re filling and satisfying but not too sweet.
We like all three varieties of the original breakfast biscuits. They’re filling and add to a healthy balanced breakfast. They’re excellent dunked in coffee. My favorite is Cinnamon Tahini.
