You may have seen my recap of this year’s Sweets and Snacks Expo. If not, you can check it out here. One of my fave new healthy finds was pickle snack packs from SuckerPunch Gourmet. They send me 12 packs of all three flavors which I’ve been enjoying and sharing. I’m going to send some to a lucky reader, so read on!
SuckerPunch was founded in 2011 by artist and gallery curator, David van Alphen. Fed up with grocery store pickles, David starting experimenting with what is now their signature 11-spice blend. His friends couldn’t get enough and said that the flavor “hits you like a sucker punch.” They now make 8 varieties of pickles in jars, 3 snack pack varieties, Bloody Mary mix and pickle juice (great for athletes!)
SuckerPunch pickles are all-natural, Non-GMO and contain no added preservatives. They use a signature 11-spice blend. The 3.4 oz shelf stable, snack packs that come in three great flavors – Classic Dill, Bread & Butter and Three Pepper. They’re great for summer BBQs and afternoon snacks. Everyone can pick their own flavor with no worrying about sharing utensils or carrying a heavy jar.
My favorite of these is the Classic Dill, but I enjoy them all. I shared some with Lauren and she said, “I grew up with a mother that made her own pickles using cucumbers freshly picked from our garden. That being the case, I know good pickles when I taste them! SuckerPunch pickles live up to my (high) expectations. The pickles have a great taste a nice punch of crunch. My favorite was the Classic Dill. These pickles are perfect to bring to cookouts and picnics or stuffed into lunch boxes – no more soggy sandwiches!“
