Even though things are opening up, we’re still planning a lot of outdoor socializing this summer. The folks at Ethel’s are making it really easy with individually wrapped dessert bars. You can throw them in your beach bag or picnic basket and you’re ready to go!
Ethel’s Baking Co. is a premier baking company, spreading decadence that just happens to be gluten free. Ethel’s founder, Jill, has many family members with Celiac Disease. She made it her mission to make delicious gluten free meals for her family. They were topped off by her Pecan Dandies. Everyone loved them so much that the idea for a gluten free bakery came to life.
Ethel’s individually wrapped dessert bars come in four varieties. They are Pecan Dandy, Cinnamon Crumble, Blondie and new Raspberry Crumble. All of Ethel’s Baking Co.’s bars are made in a dedicated gluten free facility with locally sourced butter and cage-free eggs. Each bar is hand-layered to create the ideal texture and taste. The bars are two servings, so you can share, but they’re not super high in calories if you want to eat the whole thing! They also have 8 oz packages with 3 bars per container in addition to the individually wrapped bars.
They sent us Raspberry Crumble and Pecan Dandy to try. They also sent some free product coupons that I’m going to share with a lucky reader!
The Husband and I liked both kinds but were split on favorites. He picked Raspberry Crumble which is a gluten free shortbread crust with a layer of raspberries topped with a streusel style crumb and a bit of glaze. I went for the Pecan Dandy which is a gluten free shortbread crust topped with caramel and pecans. It’s like having an individual pecan pie.
