You may remember that I tried Split Nutrition’s nut butter and fruit spread packs in 2018. These “fast packs” have nut butter on one side and jelly/fruit spread on the other side. They’re the perfect natural snack or fuel. They provide healthy fats and simple carbs to power your day. Recently, they had a special promotion with moto-cross star Alex Martin for co-branded Peanut Butter + Jelly box. I got a box free with my purchase so I have some extras to share.
Splits were the brainchild of a chef who wanted to find a simple, good tasting food to power his workouts. He tried all of the bars, gels and waffles he could find. He wanted real foods that tasted good and made him feel good, too. He partnered with a nutritionist and Split Nutrition was born.
Splits are “two great foods in one fast pack.” They’re all natural, non-GMO, gluten free and contain no added fillers or artificial flavors.
Splits come in 6 flavors. They’re Peanut Butter + Grape Jelly, Peanut Butter + Strawberry Spread, Almond Butter + Strawberry Spread, Almond Butter + Raspberry Spread, Almond Butter + Blueberry Spread and Cashew Butter + Sour Cherry Spread.
Splits are great post run or during a bike ride. They’re a great mix of carbs and fat for recovery and they taste amazing. My faves are Peanut Butter + Strawberry Spread and Almond Butter + Raspberry Spread. But, I like to kick it old school with PB & Grape Jelly, too! They’re super easy to eat and are the perfect thing to fight off the hangries.
