Welcome to my last holiday gift guide of 2020! If you’re still shopping for gifts, check out my “Gift Guide for Fit Folks” and my “Gift Guide for Mostly Everyone Else.” And now, stocking stuffers and last minute gifts! I’ve tested out and used SO many awesome products this year. Without further ado, here are some awesome stocking stuffers and last minute gifts for the fit folks and runners (and lots of other people) in your life!
If you ever read this blog, you know I love my energy bars and hydration products. These are great stocking stuffers – healthy and practical! You can head to Whole Foods, REI or even better buy online from Finds’ fave The Feed. I love The Feed because you can try single items or flavors to test all kinds of new products. What would please a runner more than some new energy bars and fuels? A variety pack! You can give gift cards for your giftee’s local running store, too!
Here are other faves to consider – many can be purchased on Amazon with Prime shipping in time for the holidays.
Audible Gift Membership – I love listening to Audible books while I run or walk. I love thee Whispersync feature to my Kindle. Now, there is a huge Audible Plus Catalog with memberships. The Plus Catalog is an “all-you-can-listen” to catalog including thousands of audio books, podcasts and originals. You can gift 1, 3, 6 and 12 month memberships on Amazon. You can also gift Kindle Unlimited which has over 1 million titles available with the membership (and many have free audio, too!)
For readers, also consider gift cards to local book stores! Some Chicago favorites are Unabridged Books, Open Books and Semicolon Bookstore (Women and Black owned business).
Run Gum – If you’ve been around here, you know I love my Run Gum! It’s caffeinated gum with B vitamins and taurine. I use it before long runs and races instead of coffee. It gives me energy on the go! It was developed by Olympic runner Nick Symmonds. They have a new Immunity Gum now, too!
If your gift-ee or you doesn’t like gum, check out Mocca Shots for your caffeine fix from my friends at Seattle Gummy Company. They have products to boost performance and immunity, too! Now through 12/21, purchase a virtual gift card at Seattle Gummy Company and you’ll get a free box of Immunity Gummies for yourself. That’s a win-win!
Humblemaker Coffee and an awesome MiiR Tumbler – I’ve been working with Humblemaker Coffee all year and love their new roasts. They also make a variety of cold brew shots including a new immunity one. I’m also obsessed with this MiiR tumbler that says “Obstacles do not block the path. They have some fun gift packs, too. They are the Path.” Get 35% off on your first order with this link.
Holiday Gifts from Lula’s Garden – I’ve been loving my plants more than ever over the last nine months. These lovely succulents are eco friendly and come in gift box planters. I love Holiday Joy Garden I received (as shown).
SoleHealers – This innovative foot stretching and massaging product is good for runners, yogis and anyone who works out. SoleHealers strengthen feet to prevent painful foot injuries. The design provides myofascial release of the trigger points of the feet and can alleviate foot pain. Get SoleHealers on Amazon for $32.95. I’m also digging my KT Recovery+ Ice/Heat Massage Ball – a multi-functional massage roller ball with hot and cold therapy versatility. It’s not pricey and is super helpful when massages are hard to come by!
SPIbelt Glide – I love to carry my phone in races so I can grab pics before the start and after the finish. I am a huge fan of the SPIbelt (Small Personal Item belt). The pocket expands to keep your phone and other items secure. I’ve been using the Glide belt with two pockets and no buckle. Now I have a pocket for my phone and fuel. Perfect for races. ($29.99 on Amazon)
Goodr “OG” Sunglasses – Goodr OGs are perfect stocking stuffers. These $25 sunglasses are super comfy and come in a zillion fun color combinations. I find that mine are almost impossible to break or lose. LOL. ($25 online or on Amazon)
Bombas Socks – Everyone needs awesome socks. Check out Bombas for awesome sporty socks (as shown) plus merino wool, dress socks and more for men, women and children. The best part is that they donate a pair of super sturdy socks to someone in need for every pair purchased! Get 25% off your first purchase with this link. Speaking of socks, I’m loving my Heat Holders thermal socks and slipper socks for the colder weather! Also consider socks with inspirational messages from notes to self. I’m loving my “I am crushing it” socks for workouts and wearing around the house!
MyEThree – One of my fave finds of the year was awesome gaiters from local company MyEThree. They started with just a few patterns (including an awesome Chicago flag pattern that I’ve been sporting all year) and have expanded the designs and product lines. They now have gaiters for adults and kids, bracelets, bandanas and much more! They have a 20% off sale right now – no code needed!
Clean Logic Body Care – It’s great to get self care items that we may not normally buy. Try sustainable and high quality items from Clean Logic. They have some awesome holiday gift sets and stocking stuffers and they’re on sale right now, too! I also love shampoos and conditioners that are a step up from my drug store buys. Check out R & Co and Tress Organix (a women owned, Black owned business in Chicago.)
Want someone to pick out all of the best goodies for you? Gift (or get) a subscription box!
Most people won’t buy subscription boxes, but getting a subscription is like being gifted over and over. Here are some that I love:
FabFitFun – The box for women is packed “fabulous finds in beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness, hand-picked by the FabFitFun team, delivered once per season.” The value is always over $200 for $49.99. You can gift one box or several. It’s a gift that keeps on giving!
Causebox – This is a “quarterly curation of socially conscious lifestyle products for women.” Every box is filled with products that have a story and make a difference! Like FabFitFun, the value is always over $200 for $49.99. Get $10 off a CAUSEBOX subscription or gift with this link.
Love with Food – LwF helps you discover new organic or all-natural snacks. Love With Food members will receive a curated box of unique, hard-to-find tasty snacks which varies based on seasonal themes. For every box sold, they donate a meal to several food banks such as the Feeding America Network and Share Our Strength. LWF is a Finds’ fave! Love with Food is bringing you Black Friday & Cyber Monday savings early this year! Order before 12/2 to get 20% off all subscriptions!
Urthbox – UrthBox is a great way way to discover healthy new foods, beverages, snacks and more for your home, the office or on-the-go every month. If you gift a box, you get a bonus box to try yourself. If you gift multiple months, you get big discounts. Check it out here.
Try a Runnerbox is a subscription box for runners (and they have one for bikers and one for triathletes, too!) You know I love my subscription boxes and this is a great one for runners. You can gift a one time holiday gift box (a/k/a a runner stocking!) for $29.00. Your runners will thank you for this one.
Daily Harvest (Gift Card) – Daily Harvest sends delicious single portion frozen smoothies, soups, harvest bowls and a few other goodies. The ingredients are fresh and there is no work to do. You just open, blend or heat and eat. I love the soups and harvest bowls for a delicious, healthy lunch/ These are a bit of an extravagance, so getting a gift card would be a great treat. [Treat yourself! You can also get $25 off your first order with this link.]
Nuts.com Holiday Gifts – We’ve been getting nuts, dried fruit, dry goods and goodies from Nuts.com for years. This year, they send me a holiday tin and Box of Winter Wonderland with a mix of healthy items and sweet treats.
One thing that’s different this year is COVID. Consider gift cards for your giftee’s favorite local businesses, gyms and restaurants.
