If you’ve been around here, you know I’m a huge coffee fan. Earlier in the year, I had the opportunity to try Humblemaker cold brew shots and they’re terrific. In March and April, Humblemaker had a few fundraisers and specials so I tried a few varieties. Our subscription has kept us well caffeinated (and happy) during the last 6 months. They recently launched 12 new whole bean roasts in vibrant new packaging and sent me two new roasts to try.
Humblemaker Coffee Co. is an independent California coffee company. They make premium organic craft whole bean coffees & coffee beverages. They dedicate 10% of our annual profits to enriching the lives of children living with autism.
Humblemaker has 12 new whole bean roasts. They’re organic craft coffee beans from countries all over the world and include light, medium and dark single-origin and blended roasts. They have a subscription option where you get your favorite coffee(s) every 1-4 weeks for 15% off regular price (ground or whole).
We tend to pick medium or dark roasts. Based on the descriptions, I picked Bali Blue Moon (dark roast from Bali) and Nicaragua Esteli (medium roast from Nicaragua). The Bali Blue Moon has notes of semi sweet chocolate and molasses and the Nicaragua Esteli with notes of vanilla, cacao and dried apricots.
We enjoyed both of the new coffees. The Nicaragua Esteli is similar to the Risaralda blend we’d been getting monthly. The Bali Blue Moon is a stronger flavor but it’s smooth not bitter. We’re going to keep drinking both until we pick a winner to update our subscription – tough life, right?
Want to try some of the new whole bean roasts? The folks from Humblemaker will send a lucky reader two 12 oz bags of coffee beans. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter.
