Welcome to my first holiday gift guide of 2020! I’m highly qualified to offer some great suggestions for all of the runners and fit folks on your list this year. I am also planning a “gifts for everyone else” post and a maybe stocking stuffers post, so stay tuned. I’ve tested out and used SO many awesome products this year and in the last few years. I’m well served to offer some ideas for the fit folks on your list.
So without further ado – awesome gifts for the runners and fit folks in your life!
FitBit – I still love my Fitbit. I switched to a FitBit Versa 2. I’ve found that tracking steps with my FitBit keeps me moving not only when I’m running, but throughout the day. The Versa reminds me to get up and move throughout the work day. They’ve updated the smart watches to the new Fitbit Versa 3. You can get it on Amazon starting at $179.95 (Affiliate Link) or at Fitbit online [Get 1.5% cash back with Rakuten formerly ebates, too!].
Gear from Janji – Janji is an awesome running apparel company that enables runners to give back by purchasing running gear. Janji, which means “promise” in Malay, donates to help fund clean water projects all over the world. They have everything from hats and accessories to tech T’s, shorts, jackets and tights. There are pieces for men and women. This is such a cool company and the clothes are stylish and durable. A win-win gift for the runner on your list! SPIBelt Glide – I’ve been loving this two pocket belt with no clasp from SPIBelt. It’s perfect for marathons and long runs. You can stow your phone and keys in one pocket and your fuel in another. It’s no slip and I’ve done long runs and marathons with no chafing. Get the SPIBelt Glide online or on Amazon.
SoleHealers – SoleHealers is an innovative foot stretching and massaging product that’s good for runners, yogis and anyone who works out. SoleHealers strengthen feet to prevent painful foot injuries. The innovative design provides myofascial release of the trigger points of the feet while also alleviating foot pain. Get SoleHealers on Amazon. They come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, too!
Running Gear from Athleta– I’m missing my friends from my Athleta run club. I’m still loving my new SuperSonic Lightning 7/8 Tights. Supersonic is a new performance fabric made from recycled materials. They have a high waist, 2 side pockets, a back zip pocket and mesh on the bottom to let in some air. The material is sustainable, wicking, quick dry and fair trade. I love their athleisure wear for travel and everything else!
Best bet – get a gift card so your runner can pick out her faves. [Get 4% cash back with Rakuten formerly ebates, too!]

Hypersonic True Wireless Earbuds with Sport Hooks – I’m probably the last person to switch to wireless headphones. I had the opportunity to try Hypersonic True Wireless Earbuds with sport hooks. They have HD sounds, 20 hour play time, they’re waterproof, lightweight and have passive noise cancellation. They’re great for running, the gym. and they’re perfect for virtual exercise classes. Get them online or on Amazon.
Nomader Collapsible Water Bottle – When travel becomes a thing again, this Nomader Collapsible Water Bottle is perfect for your athlete. It’s great for gym and school bags, too. It’s easy to pack, leak-proof, dishwasher safe and has a convenient carry loop. It comes in a variety of fun colors. Get in on Amazon.
Hydration Vest – Water stops and water fountains are harder to find this year. Even though I wasn’t running as far, I loved my Nathan Hydration vest. It has a bladder and pockets for smaller bottles and your phone, fuel and keys. There are a variety of sizes, price points and brands. Check out the Nathan options on Amazon.
New Shades – If you’ve been around here, you know I love my Oakley Moonlighters. They’re super light and are great for running. I barely notice them and they feel/work great. [There’s a men’s version, too!] If your giftee likes to change glasses for every mood or outfit, try Goodr. You can get awesome shades in fun color combos for $25 – $35! They have some for running, biking and just wearing all around.
Light! If your runner is into running outside after dark or before dawn or runs relay races, get him/her a lighted vest. I recently had the opportunity to check out the Tracer 360 from Noxgear. It has over 1,200 five star reviews on Amazon!
Bombas Socks – My friends from Bombas now make performance running socks (no show and calf). For every pair you buy, they donate a special long lasting pair to a homeless person in need. Get 25% off your order with this link.
Heatholders Socks – If you live in a cold place like I do and you may be doing more outside activities than previous winters, check out Heatholders ankle socks. I wore the crew socks in the F3 Half Marathon in single digits and they kept my feet nice and toasty. Get them online or on Amazon.
Warm Running Gloves – A lot of people have asked me for recommendations for gloves as they get into cold weather running. My faves are the Craft 2-in-1 gloves with windproof mitten tops. The mitten tops fold in on warmer days. You can get them on Amazon. Lululemon also has a nice pair. You can get them here.
Mixtiles – I’m missing races and adventures. I printed out some fun pictures from my social feed with Mixtiles. You can pick out some photos from your giftee’s social feed or you can get a gift card. They’re normally $11 each for 8 x 8 photos that come in a light frame or a clean edge. They have sticky strips on the back so they’re easy to hang and to move around. Great for fun Zoom background changes! They have a Black Friday sale on now for 16 for $89!
Subscription Boxes – There are some great subscription boxes for runners including Stride Box and Runner Box. There are others for Crossfit and other sports, too. These offer great opportunities for your runners to try new products. You can also gift a few months’ subscription so that the gift can keep on giving! You can also gift healthy snacks for fit folks from Fit Snack. I love mine! Keep an eye out for their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
Gift Cards – You can give gift cards to your giftee’s local running store of choice – in these times, they can all use the support. I’d love a gift card to The Feed. It’s my fave place for “finding” new fuel, recovery and hydration products and energy bars. Plus, they have great sales and introductory offers on new products!
