One downside for me of COVID is too much screen time. I’m not going to lie, I’ve occasionally been treating Instagram ads like QVC. I bought some waterproof running belts for my phone with a water bottle slot and additional pocket. I realized that I could have gotten the same belts for less on Amazon. Womp womp! I bought two so I’m going to send one to a lucky reader.
The Run Rabbyt waist belt is nylon and quick dry. It has a holster pocket for a water bottle and fits a phone in the main pocket. There’s a velcro pocket for keys. too. It has an adjustable waist belt and comes in black, blue, pink, orange and yellow. It’s also “anti-bounce.”
The belt is very comfortable and doesn’t bounce or chafe. My water bottle fell out in the first block but then stayed put for over 5 miles so I chalk that up to user error. It fits my iPhone X with a case. I don’t try the key pocket but it seemed good. This is a good, inexpensive solution for shorter runs when you want to carry water and your phone. It would be good for travel, too. It has a low profile and would fit a passport, money and credit cards with your phone.
