Friday Five: My Quarantine Must-Have Bevvies

It’s Friday, so I’m linking up with Fairytales and Fitness for Friday Five. I’ve tried some great beverages during the “quarantine” times. Don’t worry, only one has alcohol in it! I’ve been enjoying some great coffee, juices and smoothies and hydration products, too.

Top 5 Quarantine Bevvies

Coffee from Kikwetu Coffee and Humblemaker Coffee – For me, it’s all about coffee. Lots of coffee. Even in summer, I drink it hot. We’ve been loving Kikwetu which is a Kenyan coffee from a new company in Chicago. I found it at Green City Market but you can get it online, too. We’ve been ordering the Tarrazu and Risaralda coffee for several months and we’ve really been enjoying it. They’re donating $10 from every web order to support racial justice charities: Black Lives Matter, Campaign Zero and Unicorn Riot.

Juice from Garden of Flavor – Garden of Juice sent me a sampler of their organic raw cold pressed juices to try. They use organic veggies, fruits and superfoods and even press in living probiotics into some of the juices. So far, Twisted Roots and Turmeric Tonic are my faves. Leslye loves The Grasshopper. You can find them at many Whole Foods, Heinen’s, Wegmans and Mariano’s or get them online in 6 packs. Here’s the store locator.

Smoothies from Everipe – I had the opportunity to try @everipe smoothie kits. They’re made with freeze dried fruit and superfoods like hemp and chia. Everipe’s recipes contain only 100% real food. The smoothie kits are delicious, nutrient-rich and ready in 60 seconds. You just add ice, water or your favorite milk/mylk. The smoothie kits come in 5 flavors. Our faves are Pina Colossal and Strawberry Bananza. Head over to Instagram to enter my giveaway for all 5 flavors through Sunday, July 26. You can also find them online and on Amazon.

New Organic Sport Hydration Mix from Nooma – Nooma just launched a new sport hydration mix. They say, it’s “an on-the-go powder mix optimized for rapid hydration with only real and organic ingredients.” It comes in two flavors, Lime and Mixed Berry – with and without caffeine. So far Mixed Berry with Caffeine is my fave! Get 35% off on your Nooma purchase with code SWSQERAG.

BOMANI Cold Buzz – I’m excited to try this new alcohol-infused cold brew coffee. This 110 calorie, sugar-free drink has a naturally lower-calorie, gluten-free alcohol and mixed with ethically sourced 100% Arabica Coffee. BOMANI is dairy-free, non-GMO, vegan and kosher. They say you can “just crack the can and enjoy.” We’re planning to try this out on a “Sunday Fun Day.” You can check the store locator or order online here.

What’s keeping you hydrated or happy this summer?

Have a great weekend!
