This summer we’ll all be socializing outside so good picnic snacks are a must. I was supposed to meet up with my friends from Barbara’s at Expo West. Since we missed each other, they asked if we wanted to try some of their Cheese Puffs. Of course, I said “yes!” Who doesn’t need lots of wholesome snacks during a quarantine?
Since 1971, Barbara’s has been following one simple goal – “create wholesome food that tastes delicious.” They make cereals and snacks with “only wholesome ingredients that you can feel confident about and that your family will love.” They’re all about making it easier for you to make better choices. They also support National Audobon Society’s Project Puffin with every purchase.
Barbara’s Cheese Puffs “give you all the snacking satisfaction with none of the yucky artificial stuff.” All varieties of cheese puffs are all gluten-free and are made with real cheese and no artificial flavors or colors.
The cheese puffs come in five flavors – two original and three baked. The flavors are Original, Jalapeno, Baked Original, Baked White Cheddar and Baked Multigrain Cheddar Jack.
All four flavors were a big hit in our house. The Husband is a big fan and Original is his favorite. We brought some Baked Original to an outdoor happy hour with friends and everyone agreed they were delicious. One of my kid testers, Ryan (age 6) proudly reported that he tried Jalapeno and they “weren’t too spicy… but they were really GOOD.” These are a great snack for summer outings. They’re not just for kids – the grown ups around here gobbled them up!
