I’ve been checking out what natural products vendors have been doing to help during the pandemic. In April, Green Goo wrote to tell me that they’d partnered with Spirit Hound Distillers to produce hand sanitizer for first responders. They launched an FDA and WHO approved hand sanitizer. They started by donating it to their town of Lyons, CO. Then, they added it to their site and they’re donating a portion of sales to local and international charities.
Green Goo makes plant based first aid and skin care products. They infuse the products with botanical oils to create effective, all-natural products. They started making products for friends and then selling them at the local farmers market. They also make products for babies, pets and poultry. I ordered some Hand Goo and Bath Salts on their BOGO sale and got a free Hand Sanitizer. It’s still pretty tough to find hand sanitizer in these parts. The size is perfect for putting in my purse or pocket. The Hand Goo is a lifesaver for all the dryness of washing my hands a zillion times a day. It even helps with the cracking on the bottom of my heels. The Bath Salts smell great and work well for relaxing at the end of the day.
My friends from Green Goo sent me some additional products to check out. The Double Mint Castile Soap is super versatile and smells great. It can be used for hand soap, showers, baths, laundry detergent and all-purpose cleaner. They also sent me a Pain Relief salve made with arnica, Free to Breathe salve made with eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender and more hand sanitizer to share.
