I first reviewed Kodiak Cakes in 2015 after seeing them on a bunch of blogs (post). I’ve been eating them and meeting them at Expos and events ever since. I’m lucky enough to be on an influencer panel for Kodiak Cakes so I get to try new things and celebrate occasions with them.
All of this at home living and eating requires us to up our game. Lots of people make their own protein bars and balls. Luckily, Kodiak Cakes sent me some of their No Bake Protein Ball Mix. These DIY, no bake protein balls are so easy and taste amazing.
The mix is made with 100% whole grains, non-GMO ingredients and has 10 grams of protein per serving. It comes in Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and Dark Chocolate Oatmeal.
The recipe on the box takes less than 10 minutes to make (plus one hour in the fridge.) You need the mix, 1/2 c. of peanut butter (or other nut/nut-free butter), 1/3 c. of honey and 1/4 cup of water. That’s it!
You add all of the ingredients into a bowl. Then mix thoroughly and shape into balls. The box says 12 balls. I made 16 and they’re pretty large. I might make 24 small ones next time.
Once done, you put in the fridge for an hour. The protein balls are delicious and not too sweet. The Husband and I are both fans. These are perfect for at home or on the go snacks for a hungry family (or couple like us). You can also up the fun with added granola, pretzels or dried fruit. Check out some fun ideas here.
I received two free boxes of new Protein Balls. I’m going to send one lucky reader one to try. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. Winner must be a US resident, 18 years of age or older and the offer is void where prohibited. Contest ends on June 2. A winner will be selected and notified on June 3.
