Globally Inspired Energy Bars from Unite Food! #Giveaway

I was so bummed to miss out on meeting all of the companies at Expo West this year. I saw globally inspired flavors from Unite Food on a post about new brands who planned to show there for the first time. I checked out their Instagram page. I saw one word (“Churro”) and I wrote to them right away. They sent me a variety box of 12 to sample and share.

Unite is “shaking up the run-of-the-mill bar aisle.” They’re uniting globally inspired flavors with wholesome, gluten-free ingredients and superfoods to create nourishing, high-protein snacks. Unite’s founder, Clara “wanted to capture the magic of family favorites made in kitchens across the globe.”

Unite bars are made with real food ingredients and superfoods. They’re gluten-free; Churro and PB & J are dairy-free and soy-free, too. They have nut butter as a base instead of a protein blend. Each bar has 10 grams of plant based protein and 5-6 grams of prebiotic fiber to keep you full.

Unite bars come in three awesome flavors. They are Churro, Mexican Chocolate and Peanut Butter and Jelly. Each bar is 180 – 190 calories and are a great, better-for-you substitution for that afternoon candy bar.

I tried Churro the moment it arrived. It’s very tasty and not too sweet. The PB & J is super satisfying and I love that there are whole peanuts and strawberry “jammy” bits that you can see. I was surprised at how much I loved Mexican Chocolate. It has the perfect chocolate cinnamon taste with a bit of chili pepper kick on the finish. It was a true candy bar replacement for me!

Want to try Unite bars? I’ll send one lucky winner 2 of each flavor from the variety pack I received. Please use the Rafflecopter below. Winner must be 18 years of age or older, a US resident and the offer is void where prohibited. The giveaway is open through May 20. Winner will be selected and notified on May 21.
