Tried it Tuesday: Windward Grass Fed Beef Jerky #Giveaway

I love beef jerky and nuts for snacks with staying power. I recently supported Windward Jerky’s Kickstarter to move their 100% grass-fed beef jerky to more sustainable packaging and add a new flavor.

Windward Jerky was inspired by the founder’s Hawaiian grandparents. They inspired his love of food and culture. The flavors in their jerky are inspired by Hawaii. Their first flavor Alaka’i is the family’s teriyaki flavor, Island Teriyaki. The Kickstarter funded the move to more sustainable and eco-friendly packaging.

Windward Jerky is made with 100% grass-fed beef. The beef doesn’t contain antibiotics or growth hormones. The marinades are made with high quality ingredients and only natural preservatives. It’s then packaged in eco-friendly bags.

Windward Jerky comes in four flavors. They are Island Teriyaki – Alaka’i, Peppered Garlic Herb – Gaia, Habanero Guava – Island Arc and Sweet Chili Stout – Crossroads.

My favorites are Island Teriyaki and Habanero Guava. The jerky is very tasty and tender. I tried three kinds (I left the Garlic Herb for The Husband.) I like them all!

Want to try Windward Jerky? I’ll send one lucky reader 2 packages of the jerky I received with my pledge. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter.
