I met the folks from Otamot at Expo East last year. They invited me to check out a delicious new sauce packed with extra veggies for even the pickiest eaters.
Otamot was developed by a parent of picky eating kids in collaboration with Maxime Bilet. Bilet is an acclaimed chef, culinary scientist and author of the Modernist Cuisine books. The sauce was “expertly crafted to be the easiest, most delicious and most nutritious mealtime prep star.”
Otamot is made with organic ingredients and is 100% plant-based. This kid-friendly sauce is made with ten vegetables. Each serving has 2g of protein, no added sugar and it’s non-GMO, high in fiber and gluten free.
The Husband and I both loved Otamot. I used it on zoodles and pasta. He liked it on his pizza.
Recently, Otamot sent me their new Organic Carrot Bolognese. This is their take on traditional Bolognese. They use diced carrots to create the texture of a Bolognese. This plant-based sauce has 9 vegetables, no added sugar and is high in Vitamin A and gluten free.
I made Cauliflower Gnocchi with the Carrot Bolognese. I added veggies and a few spices. It was super fast and delicious. Picky eaters will love it as much as I did.
Otamot has a new Spicy sauce launching nationally at Whole Foods in June. It’s already on sale online on their website. It’s versatile and I hear it makes a mean Bloody Mary! I can’t wait to try it.
