If you’ve been around here, you know I’m a wee bit obsessed with finding the best nut butter. I’ve seen SuperFat “amazing” nut butter packs in a lot of subscription boxes. They contacted me on Instagram to see if I wanted to try all the flavors. Of course, I said “YES!”
The folks behind SuperFat want to educate people on the benefits of healthy fats in the diet. They also set out to make the best tasting, nutritionally balanced on the fuel they could make. SuperFat’s convenient nut butter pouches offer “a convenient way to get the right balance of [healthy] nut fats and functional ingredients, moderate protein, and low net carbs on the go.“
SuperFat makes nut butter with “just a few science backed ingredients.” It contains no added sugar, no palm oil, no-GMO ingredients and is vegan, gluten free, Keto and Paleo.
SuperFat comes in five flavors. They are Cacao Coconut, Coffee + MCT, Protein, Macadamia Coconut and Macadamia MCT + Probiotics.
I tried Coffee + MCT first. Of course, I did! It’s almond and macadamia nut butter with MCT oil, freeze dried coffee, salt cinnamon and stevia (I couldn’t taste it – it’s not my fave.) I tried the Coffee + MCT on a BFree Sweet Wrap and straight from the pouch. I’m a fan. I like that you can really taste the nuts and coffee.
My fave flavor is Cacao Coconut. This is coconut butter with almonds, cacao powder, macadamia nuts, cinnamon, salt and a bit of stevia. It’s very smooth and not too sweet. I ate it right from the pouch and on an apple. It’s really delicious plus it’s easy to eat some and save some with the twist top. This is a great pre-workout fuel with fruit for me.
