If you’ve been around here, you know I love Bubba’s Fine Foods’ Paleo snack mixes. I first reviewed them in 2016 (post) and have enjoying them ever since. Bubba’s has a new look and some great new flavors. They sent me the new flavors to try and will send a variety pack to one lucky reader so read on!
Bubba’s Fine Foods was started in 2014 by Jared Menzel his brother-in-law, Jeff Schmidgall. Each bag of grain-free snacks is hand-crafted in small batches. Jared (a/k/a Bubba) is a self-taught chef. He changed his diet to clean, high nutrient and low glycemic foods. He started experimenting and creating his own clean, real-food snacks in his kitchen. Jeff is a Crossfit Trainer and health coach who adopted a Paleo lifestyle in 2014. He fell in love with the snack mix and the rest is history.
The secret ingredient in the snack mixes is the green Saba Banana. They’re packed with prebiotics, vitamins and minerals and are low in sugar. They “douse” them in nutrient-dense coconut oil and bold, natural seasonings.
The chips and snack mixes are Paleo, vegan and gluten free. They’re non-GMO project certified, low in sugar and contain all real food ingredients.
The new flavors are Classic Sea Salt ‘nana Chips and Montreal Chophouse Snack Mix. The Chips now come in four flavors: Not-Cho Nacho, Blazin’ Buffalo (my fave), Grand Garlic Parm and new Classic Sea Salt. The Snack Mixes come in four flavors: Savory Original (my fave), Righteous Ranch, Hickory Smoked BBQ and new Montreal Chophouse.
I love these tasty snacks. The new Classic Sea Salt ‘nana Chips are perfect to add a crunch to my salad and soups (in addition to straight out of the bag!) I love the nuts mixed in and the bold flavors in the snack mixes. The new Montreal Chophouse mix has a nice kick to it.
