You know I love my coffee and I love convenience. I had the opportunity to try Steeped Coffee. It’s eco-friendly, craft made coffee in single serve pods. Steeped is brewed like tea in “nitro sealed Steeped Bags.” They use “guilt-free” packaging made with renewable and compostable materials. This enables them to present freshly ground specialty coffee in a single-serving. And, it’s “barista-approved!”
Steeped set out to make a simple, environmentally friendly, craft quality, ethically sourced single serve coffee. That’s taking on a lot but they did all that as a B-Corp! Steeped also earned the “Best New Product” award for their innovative packaging at the recent Specialty Coffee Expo. Each coffee bag is made of a non-GMO food grade biodegradable material that you can drop in your garden or toss in your compost bin.
Steeped coffee packs come in five varieties. They are Sunrise Blend (light roast), California Blend (medium roast), Odyssey Blend (dark roast), Driftwood Blend (extra dark roast) and Eventide Decaf.
Steeped is easy to make. You place the bag in a cup and pour 8 oz of water on top. Then you dunk it (like tea) and leave it in the cup for 5 minutes (or to your preferred strength. That’s it.
This coffee is quick and tastes great. I like all of the blends I’ve tried and the Decaf. I’m taking these with me in my travels so I don’t have to drink bad hotel or office coffee again. I prefer these to coffee brewed in single serve machines like a Keurig. They taste way better.
