I fell in love with the beautiful packaging of Godai soaps at Expo East. They make all natural, vegan, certified organic soaps in five varieties. They make full sized and travel sized soaps that can be used on the body and as shampoo. They’re also made in the USA with non GMO ingredients.
Godai is the Japanese term for Five (go) and Great (dai). It refers to the five elements of earth or ground (Chi), water (Sui), fire (Ka), wind (Fu), and sky or void (Ku). Godai soaps are “inspired by the five elements to cleanse, hydrate, rejuvenate, nourish, and soothe your skin and hair.”
Godai soaps come in five formulations:
- Earth uses French clay to cleanse skin and hair of excess oil and sugar to gently remove dead skin and clear pores – it’s unscented for sensitive skin
- Water helps to hydrate skin and hair with a nourishing mix of ingredients like coconut oil and shea butter
- Fire aids in brightening dull skin and hair with a rejuvenating combination of rosemary, lemon and avocado oils
- Wind contains rice bran oil, turmeric oil and barley grass powder to help nourish and brighten damaged skin
- Sky assists in soothing dryness with calming lavender, eucalyptus, and sweet orange oils
The bars come in two sizes. There are 4 oz bars and .75 oz travel size. The travel size are great because they can be used as shampoo and soap. It’s the perfect size to stow in your backpack to use on the road.
I’ve tried the Sky and Water. They both lather up great and smell so good. The natural essential oils work well on my skin and hair. I’m excited to take some travel sized ones on our next vacation!
Godai sent me a sampler to try and a travel set to send to one lucky reader. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. The contest runs through November 6.
