I’m always on the look out for healthy, tasty lunch options. I had the opportunity to try Angelic Bakehouse’s Garden Wraps and FLATZZA pizza crusts. These are the perfect “yealthy” option for back to school wraps for kids and grown ups. What’s “yealthy?” That’s yummy + healthy.
Angelic Bakehouse was started by a husband and wife team. They’re on a mission to prove that healthy can be delicious. They start with whole grains and sprout them to make them naturally sweeter with no added sugar. They only use the best ingredients to make eating health tasty, too.
They sent me Garden Wraps and FLATTZA Crusts to try.
The 7 Grain Sprouted Garden Wraps come in three great flavors. They are Vibrant Beet, Turmeric Sweet Potato and Spring Kale Spinach. They’re vegan and are free-from peanuts, dairy, eggs, sesame and soy. They have at least 5g of protein and 4g of dietary fiber in each wrap. They’re perfect to use for sandwich roll-ups, quesadillas, breakfast burritos and more.
I made a delicious wrap with the Turmeric Sweet Potato Garden Wrap. I used turkey, spinach and Medlie tomato tahini veggie mash. The wraps are delicious and the whole grains kept me full. I love all three flavors and the Beet one would make a lot of kids happy in their lunch box. Purple sandwich? Yes, please.
The FLATZZA Crusts are large wraps that are “part flatbread, part pizza crust.” Each serving has 5g of protein and under 170 calories. You can make pizza your way. I made half with cheese for The Husband and half with chicken and artichokes for me. The FLATZZA is a winner in our house. The Husband loved it. We’ll be making all kinds of pizzas with them from now on. They also come in “buddy” (small size) so everyone can make his/her own flavor combo.
