It’s Friday, so I’m linking up with Fairytales and Fitness for the Friday Five. Since it’s the first weekend of the month, I‘m also linking up with Coco @ Running with Perseverance and Deborah @ Confessions of a Mother Runner for the Ultimate Coffee Date, too. Can you believe that it’s already July? Time is flying again this year.
What is the Ultimate Coffee Date? Imagine we are having coffee together… this post is what I would tell you. So grab a cup, “listen” and then tell me what is going on with you in the comments, please!
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that after a super busy June, we don’t have much on the calendar for July and August. In some ways that’s a nice change and in some ways, I’m itching to get some trips on the docket. I am super excited to go to Empower Summer Camp and to meet many Sweat Pink Ambassador friends that I only know online in real life. Plus – it’s adult summer camp – yay! I’d ask what fun plans you have for the summer.
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I bailed on my July 4th race this year to go to Olivia’s birthday run. We have a tradition of wearing birthday hats on the path and then going for coffee. I think this was our biggest group yet. It was really humid and I was happy to sleep in a bit instead of driving out to the race. I also have run a ton of races so far this year, so I was OK to skip one. See my Q2 running recap here.
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I listened to some great podcasts lately. I especially liked the Moth story Angel by Run DMC. I also listened to the preview for the new Wondery show The Shrink Next Door. I’m intrigued. I’d ask if you have anything new or great on your podcast playlist.
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I found some great new products to share at the NYC Fancy Food Show. I went to work the show with my friends from Laiki Crackers. I got to walk around some and found new flavors from my friends at Split Nutrition (1/2 nut butter and 1/2 jelly in convenient squeeze packs), a great new sports drink from Untapped (plus mini fuel waffles), new flavors from my friends at Maddy & Maize (coming this fall) and amazing tuna mini meals from Freshe. More to come on these soon, but you can get Split and Untapped (and single serve of a ton of great healthy and sports finds) at The Feed. New customers get $12 off of their $30 order. You can get Freshe, Laiki and Maddy & Maize on Amazon. [Affiliate links – if you use these links, I get a small commission.] I’d definitely be sharing products with you, because I have a ton on hand at the moment!
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I’m headed to Expo East again. I’m super excited to meet new brands and to see friends from brands I love. I’d ask what products / trends you’re most interested in me finding this year.
What’s happening by you? Please share your coffee talk in the comments!
