I love seaweed, snacks and salad. When SeaSnax asked if I wanted to check out their new SeaVegi seaweed salad mix and Chomperz chips, I said “YES!”
SeaSnax is a socially conscious, kid-inspired family business. The founders are moms and dads whose kids “eat seaweed like candy.” They source the highest quality seaweed from Korea. They also contribute 10% of their annual net profit to non-profit organizations to help make the world a better place for their children and our earth.
SeaSnax started with a roasted seaweed snack. They’ve expanded their line to include Chomperz seaweed chips, new SeaVegi seaweed salad mix and SeaMama Wakame and Kombu.
Chomperz are roasted seaweed wrapped in crunchy rice and seasoned. They’re crunchy and satisfying. They’re non-GMO and contain no transfats. The one oz. bag has less than 100 calories. They are in fact “strangely addictive” and nice and filling. Chomperz comes in 4 flavors. They are Original, Jalapeno, Onion and Barbecue. My faves are Jalapeno and Original.
I love seaweed salad at Japanese restaurants. SeaVegi is a nutrient-packed seaweed salad mix made with five different sea vegetables – Wakame, Agar, Suginori, Tsunomata and Maufunori. It’s vegan and gluten free and is packed with essential vitamins and minerals. You soak SeaVegi in cold water for seven minutes, drain it and add your favorite dressing. There’s a recipe on the package. I made one with Apple Cider Vinegar which was a great contrast. I love that it’s non-perishable so I can have veggies when I don’t have fresh ones on hand. Seaweed is naturally salty so I added some fresh greens and used the seaweed salad over several days. It stayed well in the fridge.
The nice folks from SeaSnax sent me an assortment of products. I have more than one of each item, so I’m going to send the items above to a lucky reader. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter.
