Just ‘Shrooms – Pan’s Mushroom Jerky #Giveaway

Mushrooms were all the rage at Expo East. I met Michael from Pan’s Mushroom Jerky at Expo West last year and caught up with him again at East. I’ve tried a few mushroom jerky products but Pan’s is my favorite.

Pan’s shiitake mushroom jerky recipe came from a family recipe. Michael discovered it on a trip to Malaysian trip. He couldn’t wait to bring back the delicious umami flavor to the US.

Made of shiitake mushrooms, this jerky is vegan, gluten free, and made with organic ingredients. It’s also soy-free, kosher, paleo-friendly and naturally high in fiber and vitamin D. It has a really meaty texture. It’s hard to tell it’s vegetarian!

Pan’s Mushroom Jerky comes in four varieties. They are Original, Salt & Pepper, Zesty Thai and Applewood BBQ.

My favorite is Salt & Pepper, but I like them all. The texture is really great and the shiitake mushrooms are surprisingly meaty. I love that each serving has 7g of fiber and 50% daily value of Vitamin D. I need all of the Vitamin D I can get in winter! The jerky makes a great snack and it’s good cut up on soups and salads, too!
