I was invited to check out Joriki, a Chicago yoga apparel company. I love supporting local businesses and was even more excited when I learned that each collection supports a different charity. Joriki makes high quality, stylish, functional clothes for yoga, fitness classes, running and just hanging around.
Joriki designs high-end yoga apparel in Chicago. They say, “each Joriki collection has a unique story behind its creation.” Each creation is tied to an associated charity. They’re “a small company that tries to make a big impact.” Joriki’s slogan is “Look Forward Give Back.” Joriki clothes are made in the USA.
I stopped by the Joriki showroom to check out their collections. They make 7 or 8 core pieces in a variety of colors and prints. They make most pieces in black or navy for people like me! They also make really cool Chicago flag leggings that they can’t keep on the shelves!
Joriki works with artists on special prints – like these awesome florals and pandas from Domingo Zapata. A portion of the sales from this collection goes to Kiva.org – a non-profit that facilitates lending to individuals in poverty to start businesses and go to school.
I tried on a variety of pieces. I fell in love with these capris and this tank. The capris have the matching pattern (and a big pocket) on the waistband. The material is nice and thick with some compression for a snug fit. They’re comfortable enough to wear all day. I like them for yoga, the gym or for running. I also got a wrap top which can be worn as a casual top or after working out.
Joriki also has some fun accessories. They gave me a multi-function headband ($28) and a red bracelet (for good luck) to give to a lucky reader. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. The giveaway runs through November 15. A winner will be selected and notified on November 16. Winner must have a US postal address, be 18 years of age or older and the offer is void where prohibited.
