You may remember my rave review of Redd Bar after Expo East in 2016. I was all energy barred out, but they knocked my socks off with plant based, oatmeal superfood bars. They’re high in protein, gluten free, vegan and non-GMO. They contain 11 superfoods and 23 vitamins. Redd Bar uses high quality ingredients that are best for performance. Redd Bars contain 36mg of natural caffeine. They’re also ethically sourced. They’re all good. So good in fact, I became an ambassador.
I visited with the Redd Bar team again at Expo East in 2017 [Day 2 recap] and Expo West this year. I chatted with them and sent lots of folks their way. I loved the marketing on the booth – “What you put into your body isn’t the problem, it’s the solution.”
Redd Bars now come in five flavors. They are Chocolate, Oatmeal, Peanut Butter, Mint Chocolate and Salted Caramel. The bars are dense but chewy. They’re moist and delicious. The Chocolate is rich, but not too sweet to eat pre-run or for breakfast. In fact, I had one before the NY Marathon in 2016. Given the late race start time, I had a Peanut Butter one, too. These bars kept me full through the race – even 26 miles later. I’m definitely a fan of Redd Bar. Since then, I’ve had these on hand for many runs, races and trips.
You don’t have to take my word for it. Redd Bar will send one lucky winners a mixed 8 pack of Redd Bars and a Redd knit cap. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. Winners must be US residents, 18 years of age or older and the offer is void where prohibited. The giveaway runs through April 25. A winner will be selected and on April 26.
