May is Mental Health Awareness Month. My friends at A Sweat Life are teaming with the Sweatworking app to offer a Mind, Body, Soul challenge for the month of May. This free, four week challenge is about “working ‘in’ versus working out.” Read on to learn more and to see how to sign up!
Every week in May, the #MindBodySoul challenge will include:
- One happiness workshop filled with intention and goal setting led by A Sweat Life founder, Jeana Anderson Cohen
- Three guided meditations from Live Better Co.
- One restorative yoga sequence led by A Sweat Life’s Maggie Umberger
Each week focuses on a specific theme. The four themes are setting intentions, stress relief, presence and gratitude. Session ranges from 5 – 20 minutes. All you need is a yoga mat, yourself and your phone with the Sweatworking App.
Participants who complete the activities will be eligible to win weekly happiness-oriented giveaways. Complete the entire challenge and there will be more perks and you’ll be entered to win a grand prize.
The challenge is free. To get in free, you must use the current Sweatworking App (version 1.3.7) AND use this link for access. Plus, for every participant who joins the challenge by May 1st, A Sweat Life will donate $1 to the Treatment Advocacy Center. This non-profit is dedicated to eliminating legal and other barriers to the treatment of serious mental illness.

A PSA from A Sweat Life: Everyone can benefit from incorporating mind-healthy habits into our daily lives. That said, nothing can take the place of certified medical care. We all experience feelings of loss and sadness from time to time, but 1 out of every 15 adults will experience at least one major depressive episode each year. Depression is a condition, not a choice. If you are experiencing symptoms of depression or thoughts of suicide, please call 1-800-273-8255.
Have a great weekend!
Please note: I am an A Sweat Life Ambassador. I was not compensated for this post. I’m doing the challenge, too!
