Welcome to the fourth Ultimate Coffee Date link up of 2018. Another year is off to a quick start. I‘m linking up with Coco @ Running with Perseverance and Deborah @ Confessions of a Mother Runner. What is the Ultimate Coffee Date? Imagine we are having coffee together… this post is what I would tell you. So grab a cup, “listen” and then tell me what is going on with you in the comments, please!
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that Monday is the 6th anniversary of my first blog post. It was all text and about 100 words introducing the blog and asking what you want me to find! I’ve come a long way. I never dreamed when I started that I’d have so many amazing experiences and new friends (in addition to trying about a zillion products!). I’d also tell you to come by on Monday to check out my Blogiversary giveaway!
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that March was a total whirlwind with 6 work trips (Boston, Boulder, Kansas City, Austin, NJ and Dallas) and two fun trips (Expo West in Anaheim and the NYC Half in New York City.) The Husband also went on three trips in March (all for skiing). I was fortunate to see many friends on my work trips and my brother and Dan, too. That made all of the travels much more fun. That said, I seriously didn’t know if I was coming or going. It was SO nice to have one week at home before traveling last week and next.
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that we’re doing some serious budget cutting at work, so I may not have to travel as much in the next few months. Austerity is never fun but it will be fun to be home and to try to come up with creative solutions to working with customers and co-workers remotely.
If we were having coffee… I’d tell you that I’m headed to the Gluten Free and Allergen Free Expo today. I’ll be excited to share new finds and stuff from my faves after the show! The exhibitor list seems bigger to me this year so I’m excited to check out some new products and companies!
If we were having coffee… I’d ask if you’re traveling anywhere fun soon. I have a few trips in May planned with friends. The Husband and I may go to Montreal with friends in June and are thinking of Iceland or another international trip. We’re open to suggestions! Any recommendations?
What’s happening by you? Please share your coffee talk in the comments!
