I saw Spice Water on Instagram and was instantly intrigued. Spice Water is an all natural hydration drink made with coconut water and sea salt for electrolytes and natural spices for antioxidants. All of the flavors are “packed with tumeric” for joint recovery.
Spice Water was the brain child of a Chicago triathlete who owned a spice company. He realized that he could make great hydration solutions with natural spices. These spices have been used for centuries around the world for heart health, muscle recovery and improved metabolism.
Spice Water comes in four flavors. They are Bali Citrus Ginger, Fuji Apple Mint, Persian Peach Cinnamon and Mango Melon Chili. Each packet has only 28 calories and 5 grams of sugar. They’re naturally low calorie, low glycemic and low in sugar. It’s sweetened with agave and stevia (but no funny aftertaste).
I initially got a Spice Water sampler with two of each flavor. You can mix it with hot or cold water. I tried the Persian Peach Cinnamon first warm and I really enjoyed it. I tried the Mango Melon Chili before the NYC Half and loved it. The chili pepper has a nice kick, but it wasn’t overpowering. I tried the Bali Citrus Ginger cold, but I think I’ll try it hot next. There’s something about warm ginger. I’m excited about these spice combos to add to my hydration game. I can’t wait for summer – these will be perfect for warm weather!
Want to try it? I’m going to send one of each packet to a lucky winner. Please use the Rafflecopter below. The giveaway runs through 4/2. A winner will be selected and notified on 4/3. Winners must be a US resident, 18 years of age or older and the offer is void where prohibited.
