Today’s National Cereal Day. You can celebrate with The Soulfull Project and give back to your community at the same time. For every serving of The Soulfull Project’s hot cereal purchased, they donate a serving of their 4 Grain Blend hot cereal to a food bank in the region where it was purchased. To date, they’ve donated over 310,000 servings with the goal of one million by 2019.
I met the folks from The Soulfull Project at last year’s Expo West. The Soulfull Project was started by food industry veterans who were inspired to take action after seeing the severity of food insecurity in the US. At Expo West, they were explaining the product and how they donate a serving for every sample given/product purchased. I got to put a pin in the map in Chicago to support our community. I loved connecting with them and hearing how the company started. [Read more about the founders and their progress on Refinery 29.]
The Soulfull Project cereal is made with natural, nutrient-dense ingredients. It’s also vegan, Non-GMO Project verified and contains no artificial flavors or colors. Individual cups or packets are great for a healthy breakfast on the go. They also offer multi-serve re-sealable bags, too.
The Soulfull Project Multigrain cups come in four flavors. They are Tart Cherry, Cinnamon Spice, Brown Sugar Pecan and Blueberry Almond. All flavors are vegan and the Brown Sugar Pecan is gluten free. The cups are 240-300 calories and have 6 – 9 g of fiber, tasty whole grains and taste great, too. Tart Cherry is my fave.
The new multi-serve cereal bags come in two flavors. They are Four Grain Blend and Gluten Free Hearty Grains and Seeds.
Want to try it? The nice folks at The Soulfull Project will send one lucky reader one of each cup and one bag of each cereal. Please use the Rafflecopter below to enter. The winner must be a US resident, 18 years of age or older and the offer is void where prohibited. The giveaway ends on March 16. A winner will be selected and notified on March 17.
