It’s Friday, so I’m linking up with Running on Happy and Fairytales and Fitness for the new Friday Five 2.0. This is a “free” week. I have a ton of health snacks to share post Expo West plus some other great new stuff from brands I love. Here are five great brands, and products, you should be on the lookout for!
1. Nakd Bars and Nibbles – A few years ago, I tried Nakd Wholefood Bars (review). This UK company pioneered clean food bars 13 years ago. Nakd Bars contain 100% natural ingredients with no added sugars, syrups or “other stuff that shouldn’t be there.” The bars are wheat, dairy and gluten free and are a perfect size for a snack or pre-workout. They have two kinds: raw fruit and nut bars and crunch (protein) bars. Now they have a new line of Nibbles in 4 great flavors: Strawberries and Cream, Salted Caramel, Coconut Bliss and Toffee Treat.
I’m going to be sharing some of the goodies they sent me! In the meantime, you can try a sampler of bars or bars and Nibbles from Amazon (prime eligible) or online. You can also follow Nakd Wholefoods on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
2. 88 Acres – Before we hit the Grand Canyon, Lauren tweeted to ask if I’d found 88 Acres. I supported their Kickstarter in 2014 and have been enjoying their bars ever since. They make hand crafted, nut free bars in three flavors. Since then, they have launched other premium allergen free foods including “Seednola” and (delicious) seed butters in three varieties. They sent me a sampler pack of bars and seed butters and some Seednola to enjoy.
I’m going to be hosting a giveaway soon. In the meantime, you can get 88 Acres online (get 20% off with code EARTHMONTH through 4/30). You can also follow 88 Acres on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
3. Raw Rev Glo Bars – I’ve tried Raw Rev Glo Bars in a number of subscription boxes. I stopped by at Expo West to tell them how much I enjoy them. Raw Rev makes a variety of plant based, vegan, superfood bars that actually taste amazing. [The last part is my description. I really like these bars!!] Nut-based Glo bars are high in protein, fiber and are low in sugar. Glo bars are infused with raw superfoods and are vegan, gluten-free and non-GMO. They’re also free from preservatives, soy protein isolates, whey, grains, and sugar alcohols.
They sent me a huge box of three varieties that I’ll share and review in more detail. In the meantime, you can get Raw Rev Glo bars online and on Amazon. You can also follow Raw Rev on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
4. Rayzyn – Wine Rayzyns are another new find from Expo West. RayZyns are a crunchy superfood snack, made in California, from dried wine grapes with the toasted seed intact. These are so good! They come in Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay varieties (and don’t worry, they’re alcohol free!) They also have a chocolate covered Cabernayzyn!
They sent me a some additional sample packs to try and share. In the meantime, you can get Wine Rayzyns online and on Amazon. You can also follow Raw Rev on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
5. Sustainable Indulgence Superfood Cookies – I found Sustainable Indulgence Superfood Cookies in New York last year. I tried the Pecan Maple Bliss Cookies with Lacuma Powder. I was very excited to meet the Sustainable Indulgence team at Expo West. I tried some more yummy samples. The cookies are gluten free, vegan, preservative and soy free and taste great.
They sent me all of flavors to try and I’m planning a giveaway, too! In the meantime, you can get Sustainable Indulgence Superfood Cookies online and on Amazon. You can also follow Sustainable Indulgence on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
What is next on your list to try?
Have a great weekend!
