Welcome to my first holiday gift guide of 2016! I’m highly qualified to offer some great suggestions for all of the fit folks on your list this year. I am also planning a “gifts for everyone else” post and a stocking stuffers post, so stay tuned. I’ve tested out and used SO many awesome products this year. So without further ado – awesome gifts for the fit folks in your life! I’m also going to link up with some other gift guides from blogs I love so you can get more great ideas!
FitBit – I love my FitBit Blaze. I’ve mentioned a bunch of times that I don’t use GPS on my runs. I’ve found that tracking steps with my FitBit keeps me moving not only when I’m running, but throughout the day. The Blaze reminds me to get up and move throughout the work day. It also receives notifications from my phone and I can control my music or podcast with it. It tracks heart rate, sleep and can track routes in conjunction with my phone. The battery lasts pretty long, too! You can get it now on Amazon for $179.99 (Affiliate Link). I love mine! Right now, you can also get a $25 cash code if you buy it at Dick’s Sporting Goods. You can enter to win a $25 Dick’s Gift Card in my 12 Days of Giveaways through December 18th to save even more.
Gear from Janji – Janji is an awesome running apparel company that enables runners to give back by purchasing running gear. Janji, which means “promise” in Malay, donates of each piece to help fund clean water projects. This season, the proceeds are helping people in Kenya. They have everything from hats and accessories to tech T’s, shorts, jackets and tights. There are pieces for men and women. This is such a cool company and the clothes are stylish and durable. A win-win gift for the runner on your list! Get $5 off your first order when you sign up for their #runventure newsletter.
The BFF – The BFF will make your foam roller obsolete. This massager takes little effort and improves circulation, releases tight muscles and much, much more. It provides myofascial release and can work to break up scar tissue. If that’s not enough, it even has an attachment to exfoliate your skin. Read more on the benefits HERE. The BFF is $300 but it is like getting unlimited massages. They offer discounts at some races like The San Francisco Marathon and Rock & Roll Chicago. Try it out if you see them!
Apera bags – Apera bags are designed to be healthier. They have antibacterial protections, smart venting and separate areas for wet clothes. Apera bags feature intelligently designed wet, dry and tech storage areas within each bag to provide an easy keep items clean and organized. There are separate vented compartments with wipeable linings and a huge interior storage area with light colored lining to help you find your gear. Now all bags are 20% off for the holidays with coupon code twentyoffapera. I love my Tech Pack!
CEP Progressive Plus Ultralite Socks These are a new version of the Progressive+ Run line. They are 30% lighter than the original CEP Run Socks and they have antibacterial and moisture management properties. I wore the Ultralite Sleeves all summer and I love them. The traditional Run Socks and Recovery Socks make great gifts, too. CEP also has great socks for skiing, hiking and much more! The Ultralite Socks are $60.00 and the Ultralite Sleeves are $40. You can get deals for following on social media and signing up for their newsletter, too!
Gym Wear from Viewsport – I am a wee bit obsessed with the awesome, cheeky, sweat activated tees from Viewsport. They make awesome tanks, Ts ($24.95) and tech Ts (on sale for $24.95) for men and women with fun sayings on the front and sweat activated (see photo for explanation) sayings on the back. These are awesome for the runner (or Crossfitter) with a great sense of humor! The folks at ViewSPORT are offering great deals for my readers! You can get 35% off your purchase at ViewSPORT with code Erica35 or 70% off of anything from the Aroque line with code Erica70. The ViewSPORT line is reasonably priced and Aroque is a steal with these codes!
Running Gear from Lululemon and New Balance – I was recently invited to check out great winter running gear at Lululemon and New Balance Chicago. Lululemon has really upped its running game. I found a ton of gear I liked and snagged a pair of Fresh Tracks Tights in Black. They come in 7 colors and are going to be great for winter running. [Enter to win a $25 Lululemon gift card + more in my 12 Days of Giveaways through 12/19. Plus get 10% cash back from ebates if you buy online.] New Balance Chicago has a ton of great winter running gear, too. They also have sales on summer gear and accessories. Get the scoop in this post. Through 12/31, Chicagoland residents can enter to win a pair of sneakers, fit analysis and a $50 gift card.
