October is National Dessert Month. The nice folks at Little Something Foods offered me some Mad Minis to help me and The Husband celebrate. They sent me an extra voucher for one lucky reader, too. So read on!
Mad Minis are the first product from Little Something Foods. They’re hoping to change the dessert world by offering treats with “great taste, portion control and the best ingredients.” They say, “Mad Minis were born out of necessity.” They wanted a snack sized dessert with real ice cream, no artificial ingredients and without a ton of calories. They didn’t find any they liked, so they made their own.
Mad Minis are mini ice cream sandwiches made with cookies and real ice cream. Each bite sized ice cream sandwich has only 60 calories! They come in four flavors: Vanilla, Blondie, Chocolate and Black Raspberry. All of the Mad Minis have chocolate cookies except the Blondie where the cookies are vanilla.
I picked up the Vanilla Mad Minis for The Husband. There are 12 bite sized treats per box. These are the perfect size.
The Husband grabbed a few and I tried one, too. The cookies are rich and the ice cream is the real thing! The Husband would like a little more ice cream per treat, but the cookie to ice cream ratio is perfect for me. Believe it or not, one was enough to satisfy my big sweet tooth. Mission accomplished, Little Something Foods!
