The Vitamin Shoppe is celebrating the Power of Protein in March! They sent me an assortment of their BodyTech proteins and other popular protein products to check out. They are also having a storewide sale on some top protein brands. They say, “ensuring adequate protein intake can be one important step in building a well-rounded fitness routine, and the Vitamin Shoppe is here to help [you] find the right protein for [you.]” It is their mission to help us reach out 2016 health and wellness goals.
The team sent me an awesome box full of goodies with a t-shirt for me and one for The Husband. So nice!
In addition to the t-shirts, the box contained a variety of Vitamin Shoppe’s exclusive BodyTech protein (including Pro Pudding!) It also had a PowerCrunch chocolate bar, a Lenny and Larry’s Birthday Cake Cookie, an Oh Yeah Birthday Cake One Bar, a BPA free Jax shaker bottle and an Amazing Wellness magazine.
They sent single serving packs of BodyTech Whey Tech Pro 24, BodyTech Micellar Casein, BodyTech Casein and BodyTech Pro Pudding:
- Whey Tech Pro 24 protein contains 24 grams of protein per serving and only 1 gram of sugar. It comes in chocolate mint, cookies and cream and banana crème. Whey protein digests quickly and provides amino acids to support post workout muscle growth and recovery. It is free of artificial preservatives, artificial added colors, fish and yeast.
- BodyTech Micellar Casien provides an extended release of muscle-building amino acids. It helps to reduce post-workout muscle breakdown. It can be taken any time of the day, but they recommend first thing in the morning, after working out or before you go to bed to help protect muscles during the recovery period.
- BodyTech Hexatein-SR™ is formulated with 21g of 6 different proteins, including whey isolate, egg white and micellar casein. It is intended to provide a fast, medium and slow release of muscle building amino acids. It provides a good source of fiber, fatty acides and amino acids. Hexatein-SR also contains a blend of enzymes, to help aid in the digestion and absorption of protein.
- BodyTech® Pro Pudding is “a delicious snack to help support your nutritional and fitness needs.” It has 25 grams of protein and only 5 grams of carbohydrates per serving. The pudding can be easily prepared using a blender, a mobile hand mixer, a shaker cup or even a spoon. The individual packets make Pro Pudding great for for on-the-go, at the office, at the gym or even on vacation. It is gluten free but contains milk, eggs and soy. It contains no artificial flavors.
I don’t typically use these products, and neither does The Husband, but I know many of you do! I am giving away most of the “Power of Protein” pack so it can get good use! Basically, we are keeping the t-shirts and I’m giving the rest away.
