In case you missed my review last year, Lush Nuts’ founder Bisera Urdarevik developed Lush Nuts with the intention of “bringing luxury to your lips.” She started with an old family recipe and developed six handcrafted flavors of peanuts and three handcrafted flavors of almonds. Last year, she sent me a sampler of the almonds to taste and tell you about. Lush Nuts uses all natural ingredients, all of the nuts are gluten free (not produced in a certified GF facility) and vegan. The nuts are grown in the USA and there are no added oils.
The Artisan Snack Mixes come in three flavors: True North, Two Six Nine and Third Coast. The ingredients are simple and delicious. Two Six Nine Ingredients: Salt & Pepper peanuts, Wasabi peas, Sesame sticks, Salted sunflower seeds, Almonds and Organic salted cashews. Third Coast Ingredients: Coconut Orange Peel almonds, Organic pepitas (pumpkin seeds), Walnuts, Mangos and Organic Raisins. True North Ingredients: Dark Cocoa Chili peanuts, Pecans, Organic banana chips, Michigan cherries, Organic coconut chips. Just like other Lush Nuts, they contain no syrups, no artificial ingredients, no preservative and they are made in small batches. The Two Six Nine is perfect for a savory party mix or afternoon snack. I may or may not have polished off two containers of these without The Husband getting a bite. And, I would do it again.
