Tried It Tuesday: Biotin Bursts + Refreshing Herbal Mist #Giveaway

However, Biotin Bursts are chews – so they are more like candy then vitamins. Sure, I said, send it over. They also offered to send me a 1 oz bottle of their Refreshing Herbal Mist which basically helps with dry skin. Since I travel a ton, this little guy is a perfect thing to try!

On the back, it says “Unwrap. Chew. Smile. Repeat.”
They say, “NeoCell Biotin Bursts deliver high potency beauty nutrients in a delectable, gourmet soft chew.” The chews have 20 calories each, are low in sugar, have a Brazilian Acai Berry flavor and are formulated to enable absorption of Biotin. They are gluten free, soy free and palm oil free. There are also no artificial flavors.

Why Biotin? It is an important B vitamin supporting hair, nail and skin health. The chews are “scientifically formulated to support metabolism of proteins in the body promoting natural energy, luxurious hair and vibrant skin.” These chews are “designed to nourish your body inside and out.”

These little chews taste delicious. They are a bit “Starburst” like in texture (softer though)?and have an Acai flavor. I am not sure if they have helped my skin, but they are tasty and easy to look forward to. So, I am glad that I gave them a try! I can use all of the help I can get beauty wise. 😉

The Refreshing Herbal Mist is an “on the go moisture complex.” What does that mean? It is “a cool mist that leaves a layer of moisturizing collagen, essential vitamins, balancing herbs, free radical scavengers, and soothing aloe vera on skin and hair to keep them hydrate and revitalized.” It is oil free, lanolin free and has no artificial fragrance. It is easy to use. You just close your eyes, press the pump firmly to spray on your skin or hair and let it dry. It can be worn over makeup and moisturizer, in the sun or “anywhere dryness is a problem.”

Since I fly a lot, I love the idea of a refreshing spritz in a convenient travel size. And this really fit the bill. It left my skin feeling soft and looking good. I really like this product and it is less that $10 on iherb.com, too.
