This year has flown by and before we know it, the holidays will be here. I like to shop for holiday gifts all year long and especially at this time of year. I was recently contacted by Map Pendant, a company that makes cool vintage style pendants out of old maps. I checked them out online and liked what I saw. I especially like the idea of gifting a pendant for someone with a place that is special to her as a gift. They also make cool rings. So fun and thoughtful. I think it would be an awesome holiday gift for the right person!
Map Pendant has premade pieces or you can get a custom pendant or ring made to commemorate a special place for a special someone. They offer map necklaces from all over the world, quotes and bible verses. They also have cool resin rings. Necklaces are offered with 19″ or 30″ chains and come in bronze or silver. They also make necklaces and rings with customized locations from vintage maps.
Map Pendant sent me four small pendants on 19 inch chains to check out and to give away to four lucky readers! How cool is that? Because I live in Chicago, they sent me two Chicago pendants of vintage Lake Michigan and two with quotes. The quotes are “All the world is made of faith, and trust, and pixie dust” – Peter Pan and “Hope is a waking dream.” – Aristotle. Three are brass colored (dark) and one is silver and on a silver chain.
The necklaces are well made and look nice. I had the husband snap a photo of me wearing one of the Chicago ones. I dig it. Don’t you? It is perfect for a black t and jeans which is lucky for me, because that is my go to for most seasons! Map Pendants are sold online and are reasonably priced, as well, at around $20.
