Last weekend, I finally dusted off my bike. Well, in truth, the husband did and he pumped up the tires and checked the gears, too. I had an awesome Sunday that started with a ten mile run and then a twenty mile bike ride. The ride included a trip to a Farmer’s Market in Pilsen (to meet Smashed Muffin Goods) and stops to take cool photos of the Chicago River and a new art installation near the Field Museum. While we were riding, Stacy and I saw some folks sailing, and kayaking, and we reminisced about our Stand-Up Paddleboarding adventures in Lake Michigan last summer.
If you are like me, you are probably trying to get out and about as much as possible to reverse the effects of the brutal winter. The Vitamin D has been flowing for me and I could not be happier. I have been pulling out all of my tank tops, shorts and random gear and trying to put them to good use.
