In one of my early Friday Finds posts in 2012, I wrote about HealthTap Express. The post said, “Need to know whether that skin rash is poison ivy? Enter the question on HealthTap Express and a doctor will respond ASAP. The service is available 24/7. Available for free on the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and Android. (Note – I tried this one as it is founded by someone from a company I used to work with. It works and I got a lot of responses quickly!)”
Now called HealthTap, the company still offers this helpful app and a full suite of services on the HealthTap website. HealthTap gives you “answers and tips from 50,000 U.S. doctors. No waiting room. FREE!”

My favorite feature is the ability to ask questions and have physicians respond and also rate other physicians’ responses. This is really cool!
