America’s Best Organics “For My Sweetheart” Gift Basket Review/Giveaway!

Many of the companies that I check out offer organic foods and many are B Corps. You may remember when I wrote about B corpIdeaction Corps (Finds’ Fave Kelly O’Brien’s company) being mentioned in a Wall Street Journal article on B Corps. What is a B Corp? Per the article:

“Since 2007, a nonprofit organization called B Lab has been certifying for-profit companies that demonstrate sustainable business practices, such as producing less waste and tapping local supply chains. Applicants are evaluated on their treatment of employees as well as their impact on the community and environment. So far, 859 companies, including clothing company Patagonia Inc., Ben & Jerry’s, online crafts marketplace Etsy Inc. and cleaning-products maker Method Products Inc. have qualified, paying annual fees ranging from $500 to $25,000 for the certification, depending on size.”

I say this is an awesome gift basket that I would love to receive. It had the perfect amount of everything – a nice chocolate bar, tea, bath goodies, a lovely lavender candle and more. I loved the mix of treats and self care items and the fact that all of the companies included are B Corps who are focused on being good corporate citizens. If you read this blog, you know I am always checking out gift boxes and subscriptions and this is the best one I have received in a LONG time. I feel like I will use every item.
