Daily Candy had a few things that I loved in their weekly “Download“.
Need a laugh? Check out the clever website What Rhymes with Hug Me? The site takes the line from Blurred Lines (You want to hug me?) and asks “What rhymes with hug me” and then generates new, clever rhymes every time you hit the button. For instance: “I am a yuppie. I need some Starbucks! And I got a Range Rover. Caviar Leftovers.” or “Stop trying to drug me. It’s just some roofies. If you get sleepy. I won’t get creepy.” Trust me as executed, it is amusing.
Want something clever AND useful? Check out Printic. The new app allows you to send actual prints of photos (remember those?) in seconds to someone’s “snail mail” from your iPhone or Android. Printic is the easiest and fastest way to order prints from your smartphone.
How does it work?
- You choose your pictures from your phone, Facebook or Instagram;
- You crop them and add messages that appear in the white strip at the bottom of the picture;
- You add addresses and select your recipients;
- You pay with paypal or a credit card. That’s it! Your loved ones will receive “vintage-themed” [read 3 x 4 like an old polaroid!] pictures in the mail.
Now all you need is to remember where you put your friends and family members’ postal addresses! I ordered some to test it out. Do you like to print pics? I do!
Since the Chicago Half Marathon is this weekend, I wanted to provide a quick Honey’s Runners update. Thank you so much to all of the readers who participated by donating to or sharing our raffle!
