$$ for Shopping? (Yes, Please), TrackIF for Tickets & More!

I recently saw the Ibotta app on Facebook and was curious about it. Earn money for shopping? Yes, please. What is Ibotta?  Ibotta is a modern swing at the coupon with a marketing twist. It is “a fun and easy way to earn each time you go to the store.” Before shopping, choose your favorite products in the app and complete “the tasks.” The tasks are things like one question marketing polls, information or sharing on Facebook or Twitter.  Then when you buy your chosen products at over 41+ retailers where the app works like Target, Walmart, CVS and your favorite grocery stores, you get credit. After checking out, verify your purchases by uploading a photo of your receipt and scanning the product’s barcode.

How it works!

Ibotta adds new product offers all the time. They say that the more you use it, the better and more personalized your offers become. You earn “real money” that you can send to a PayPal account or donate to any school in America. Great idea for a class fundraiser, teachers/parents! They also have special bonus options for additional cash for shopping at Target, Walmart and other stores based on your location.

I downloaded the app. There are some items that I buy like Right Guard Sport deodorant for the husband, Morton Sea Salt and Emerald Nuts. At Target (in the store bonuses) they have specials for things I use like Van’s waffles and evol burritos and a few things I would like to try from Good Food Made Simple. I am going to try this and fight the usual coupon battle of not buying things I don’t need/won’t use versus getting money back/money for charity.

Need more of an incentive to try it? You can get the “$10 Share The Love Bonus!” If you redeem offers with Ibotta within two weeks of registering and they’ll add $10 to your Ibotta account as a special thank you. They say, “once you try it, you’ll be hooked.”

What do you think? Worth a Try?

trackifI posted this information on TrackIF a few weeks ago:

Have you ever wished that you could monitor prices/sales on all of your favorite websites using a single site/plug in so that you don’t have to keep checking dozens of sites and getting a zillion emails? With TrackIF you can –  for free! You set up the sites the items you are looking for on the sites you shop (with the click of a button) and then you can see if items you want go on sale or become available. You can set up specific rules, too, like alert me when this item is below $100.

You can do it all with your TrackIF account and the TrackIF button in your browser. Just register with TrackIF, add the button to your browser and you can start receiving TrackIF alerts from any site on the web. TrackIF monitors the sites, pages and searches and alerts you when, or if, they meet your TrackIFcriteria – which will keep you on top of sales and specials that could save you a lot of money each year.

They sent an email with a new feature that I think is awesome, so I am sharing again! What’s new? Ever miss out on the best seats to a concert because you didn’t buy the day they went on sale? TrackIF can help you score even better seats or better rates online! They are now tracking major ticketing sites as well as Craigslist and eBay where tickets are constantly being posted for major sporting events, concerts and shows. You can track events on StubhubeBay and Craigslist and get notified when new tickets become available. Find the exact seats you want? You can track those to see if the price drops or if they are no longer available.

Cool, huh? I like this site and I think it will continue to get better and better! Has anyone tried it?
