Theodore Geisel’s (better known as Dr. Seuss) birthday, March 2, has been adopted as the date for National Read Across America Day. This is an initiative on reading created by the National Education Association.
What better way to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday, and National Read Across America Day, than to pick a new book to read (or to share) and to remember Seuss’ legacy? For the latter, I love this infographic of some of Seuss’ best quotes:
I especially like “Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it has happened” and “Today I shall behave as if this is the day I will be remembered.” How about you??
