Want to recover all of the photos you have ever been sent to your email account and download them? Yup, there is an app for that! Check out the new app Lost Photos, which “trolls” your e-mail (multiple accounts) and finds every picture file there is.
After downloading the $3 app for Mac or Windows, all you have to do is sign in with your Gmail, Yahoo, .Mac or MobileMe account. Lost Photos then begins searching your email folders for photos you’ve sent or received and displays each pic in an easy-to-navigate slideshow. It takes a bit of time, especially if you have a large account. But, once it is done, you can easily save long-lost photos to your computer, share them on Facebook or Twitter, email them to friends or delete them. Worth $3 for sure!
OK, In the spirit of full disclosure, I am not single (and have not been since before the internet was ubiquitous) SO I really should not talk about online dating sites BUT this one seems really cool! I saw this site on the Zealous Good blog in a post that compares online match making for charitable goods and online match making of this dating site. It is a clever post and Project Fix Up is a clever local start up. For $15 they match you with a date with shared interests (based on surveys you both take), arrange a time and meeting spot and “introduce you”. Hello – this sounds like a deal. I have a friend who shall remain nameless who has agreed to try it and report back. Awesome – no?
I keep talking about meditation. If I spent more time doing it and less time talking about it then I would actually be more focused and able to resist counterproductive urges according to this interesting blog post from the Harvard Business Review entitled “If You Are Too Busy to Meditate Read This.” Well, now I am getting serious – I signed up for a FREE 3 week meditation series from Deepak Chopra’s Chopra Center and you can, too. Click HERE for more information – starts November 5th. (You can also sign up for the Chopra Center’s awesome newsletter which is where I found out about the free challenge HERE.)
Need a laugh? Check out this silly, funny post from Buzzfeed entitled “27 Reasons Why Kids Are Actually the Worst” (and please do note – this is meant to be taken as a joke! not an editorial comment – it just made me laugh.)
I saw a zillion DEALS today! (Good thing that I have not been meditating or I may have avoided the counterproductive urge to keep checking my email and the internet!) Here goes in no particular order…

One last thing for today – I was tweeted by (did I really write that? you know what I mean!) Kona Kase today. Kona Kase offers 8 – 10 fitness samples in a monthly box for the runner, biker or fitness enthusiast. Great news – I convinced them to send me one to review and give away! Stay tuned.
Wow – that is more than enough for now! Have a great day!
