Olympics and Other Obsessions

July 3, 2012 at 7:34 am

It’s July… and that means – THE OLYMPICS! I LOVE the Olympics. I would love to watch them all day long, but will have to settle for obsessively following twitter and FB and reading the news all day long once they start on July 25th. Race Recap and A Deal That Gives Back

June 24, 2012 at 8:30 pm

As I mentioned, I was a “real runner” model for the inaugural Fleet Feet Chicago Women’s Half Marathon. It was held today. They did a terrific job on a very hot day (it was 70 degrees when we left the house before 6 am!) It was supposed to be cloudy but the majority was sunny. I only briefly mentioned my “15 minutes of fame” as a “real runner” spokesperson for the Fleet Feet Chicago Women’s Half Marathon (& 5k). There are only 2 more weeks until race day, so I have to milk it (as I think my “modeling” days are likely done.) I am excited to do an all women’s half marathon as I missed the NY Mini 10k…
