Ladies, have you ever stashed money, a credit card or energy gel in your sports bra on a hot summer day? Strapped for pockets, my friends and I always chatted about where we stash our GU, cash or keys. We got some awesome chafe marks from these excursions, too. Rhys always wanted to make a great sports bra with pockets. We talked about this more than a few times on our runs.

They started with the “Blushing Betty” bralette. The Blushing Betty bralette is made with Italian fabric. It is very soft and comfortably supportive. It has a low-cut front and sexy lace with signature pockets to hold your “betty bits.” I tried the Blushing Betty and it’s indeed very comfortable and great with all kinds of tops. The pockets are in the wide band and fit cash/credit card or hotel key!
The winner for me is the Bold Betty sports bra! This bra is “medium” support and has a great design. It’s made with a moisture wicking fabric that is 90% Supplex and 10% Lycra. It has signature built-in pockets included to keep carry your money/credit card and even your phone! There are two large pockets in the front. A hidden third pocket is designed for your chapstick or lip gloss. The Bold Betty comes in turquoise, pink and black and the retail price is $55.
I stashed some Huma Gel and went for a run. The gel stayed in the bra and was easy to grab from the top. The bra provides nice coverage and support. I like that it has a nice shape. [Read: no uni-boob!] The fabric is has a good stretch and feel. The pockets run the full length of the front so you can even store an iphone. I tried it and it stayed put. The iphone makes for a bit of a funny silhouette, but no chafing. The pockets are great for storing energy gel and/or money/hotel key/credit card. The bra washes well and can be dried in a tumble dryer. This bra is a winner!
