If we were having coffee, I would tell you… I have been enjoying a few weeks at home with no travel after a whirlwind January, February and March. I had 5 trips to the west coast, 1 trip to the east coast and a bunch of quick midwest trips, too. Some trips were for work and some were for fun and all were good, but being home and getting more rest has been NICE, too!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you… I would tell you that I am reading The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair and am really enjoying it. It is pretty quirky and I am enjoying the “who done it” aspect and the style. My book club just read To Kill a Mockingbird in honor of Harper Lee’s passing. We all thought it still held up well. It is amazingly sad that this many years later, many of those old prejudices still exist. The group was mixed on whether to read Go Set a Watchman. I am a no. I think I will stick with the original. Then I would ask, “what are you reading??” Any recommendations?
If we were having coffee, I would tell you… Next week is the 4 year anniversary of my blog. Time just flies by when you are busy. I had no idea that a blog would bring me so many new opportunities, new friends and new experiences. And a ton of new products that I can’t imagine that I ever lived without! Come by next Tuesday (4/12) to share in some of the love. I’ve lined up some awesome giveaway prizes from some of my sponsors and friends. Trust me, you want in on this one!
If we were having coffee (in Chicago), I would tell you… to join me at the Lakeview Jewel (3531 N Broadway) on 4/23 for an Earth Month Extravaganza event. The first 50 shoppers to stop in (2 – 6 PM) get a swag bag with healthy products. Plus they will have raffles and specials. There are 3 more events, too 4/10 in Wilmette, 4/17 at the Jewel at 2940 N Ashland in Chicago and 4/24 at 4660 W Irving Park. Get more info about this and other events on the Jewel-Osco calendar.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you… that you have to come over and grab some of my awesome product overflow from Expo West. Well, if we were actually having coffee IRL, I would have brought you a bunch of things to try. And, I would give you the reminder to enter my “New Finds” Giveaway and tell you that I was going to have a Finds’ faves giveaway on Monday that you need to enter, too. I still have a ton of new finds to share and I have lined up reviews/giveaways with 5 of the companies pictured above, too!
