Last year, I supported New Grounds Foods Kickstarter campaign for Coffeebar. CoffeeBar is an all natural energy bar infused with real coffee. This project was the brain child of two college students from Northeastern University in their dorm room. Caffeine is their jam! It’s mine, too, so supporting this Kickstarter was a no-brainer.
The best thing for me was how delicious the Mocha Latte (original flavor) bars were when I got them! I shared some on Instagram and with friends and got a lot of thumbs ups. When two new flavors launched, I tried them and then emailed to see if New Grounds would offer a giveaway. They said “yes” so read on and enter to win a sampler with one of each flavor! CoffeeBars are organic, vegan, gluten-free, Fair-Trade, made in the USA and delicious. Each bar has as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. They now come in three flavors: Mocha Latte, Caramel Macchiato and Coconut Mocha.
- The Mocha Latte flavor has vegan dark chocolate with all other readable and organic ingredients including dates, GF oats, almond butter, coffee, crisp brown rice, chia seeds, cashews, agave, spices and sea salt. They say this one is a favorite/crowd pleaser and I can see why. It is delicious and the chocolate/coffee combo can’t be beat.
- The Caramel Macchiato has similar ingredients to the Mocha Latte with the addition of sunflower seed butter and caramel flavor. This one is a teeny bit sweeter that the Mocha Latte. If you like your coffee sweeter, try this one!
- The Coconut Mocha has the same ingredients as the Mocha Latte plus coconut and quinoa. So if coconut is your jam, you will like this one. I like this one but prefer the Mocha Latte myself.
