Welcome to my first holiday gift guide! I feel like I am highly qualified to offer some great suggestions for all of the runners on your list this year. HB Tune is my fave for bringing my phone on the run. It is made of neoprene and is sweat-resistant, the phone can be used/controlled through the plastic, there is a snap to hold in phone and an adjustable strap. The HB Tune comes in several sizes (for a variety of smart phones) and is intended to fit even large cases. Another cool thing is that it is “handed”. I got a right handed case. The fit is very comfortable and running with it was really effortless. I really like it and barely notice it while I run. I recommend this to EVERYONE who wants to run with a phone! CEP Progressive+ Run Merino Socks
These are a new version of the Progressive+ Run line with the addition of premium merino wool. Merino wool provides better moisture management, heat management and has antibacterial/odor reducing properties. How awesome is that? These socks are a unique combination of premium merino wool, polypropylene and high-tech spandex. Like the other Progressive+ Run socks, they are nice and tight in the feet with comfortable padding to prevent blisters. These are also great for travel – the merino will keep them fresh if you can’t machine wash. Bottlebark – Bottlebark is a stainless steel water bottle with a foam roller on the outside so you can easily stay hydrated AND bring your foam roller with you when you travel. How clever is that? Developed by Olympic speed skater Brian Hansen, it is perfect for athletes – and especially for runners who travel for races. The 25oz small bottle has a clip to attach it to your back pack. The bottles range from $30 – $35. I am going to give mine away, too (never used). The Infinity Strap is a yoga strap that is connected like an infinity symbol so that it is easy to use and not clumsy like traditional yoga straps.
