Time for More Flowers from Miracle-Gro + Home Depot! (#Giveaway)

This post was written as part of my partnership with Miracle-Gro. All opinions are my own.

Last spring, I posted about checking out some new plants from Miracle-Gro that were being previewed in Chicago at Home Depot Miracle-Gro and Home Depot teamed up to offer some terrific potted annuals and hanging baskets that “keep on growing.” Since I have a brown thumb, and live in an apartment far away from my green-thumbed mom, Finds’ friend Pam and I went to get some of these plants for her garden last year. The plants were colorful, vibrant and not expensive. Also, Miracle-Gro was so convinced that the product is great they are offered a 3 month money-back guarantee.  Well, the plants were beautiful and lasted all summer!

You may remember that Pam took home the flowers and hung the hanging baskets and got the other flowers ready for planting. They looked great! [As an aside, you may notice that the following pictures are extremely good. Yeah, Pam’s a professional photographer. She specializes in modern family and childrens photos with a fun, relaxed style. Check out Pam’s work and session information HERE.] 6 weeks later, we checked in. Pam said, “The flowers are doing great. They have a ton of new blooms. They’re very low-maintenance. I just water them every couple days, and they’ve been growing like crazy!

Here is what  they looked like when we got them in May and when we checked back in July:

Pretty nice – huh? Way to go  Miracle-Gro and Home Depot!

I was offered the opportunity to showcase Miracle-Gro‘s plants at Home Depot again this year. In addition, they are offering one reader a $100 gift card for Home Depot to get his/her garden started right this year. So, I called Pam and asked if she was interested and she said, “YES!” We went to Home Depot on Saturday and found some great plants again this year.

This year's shopping spree!
