April Bestowed “Unboxing” – Review and Giveaway!

You all know I love my healthy food subscription boxes. The nice folks at Bestowed offered review boxes to some blogger ambassadors this month. Of course I said “yes,” but this is one that I subscribe to, as well. That is great news for you. Why? One lucky winner will win my April “Earth Day” Bestowed box!

Please note: The giveaway box was provided at no cost to me in exchange for this review and this post contains an affiliate link. I will get a small commission if any readers order a box with via the links in this post.

Bestowed is a curated, healthy food subscription box that delivers delicious snacks, beverages and more to try for just $19/month + FREE shipping. All products have been carefully selected by celebrity nutritionist and author Heather Bauer and every box is loaded with insider tips, recipes, and more! You can now buy products you like directly from Bestowed‘s online shop, too.

april bestowed fiEach month, Bestowed sends a healthy mix of snacks, beverages and foods to your home or office. Boxes can be ordered month to month or on an annual plan and gift boxes are also available. Here are April’s “Earth Day” box selections:

  • Good Health Glories Sweet Potato Chips in Sea Salt – I love sweet potatoes and sweet potato chips, too. These come through! Nice and crisp and not too thin (and not too thick) – YUM!
  • Lucini Italia Premium Select EVOO – Super handy packets of premium extra virgin olive oil. I have not used them yet, but I love the convenience and no mess packaging.
  • Little Duck Organics Tiny Fruits in Strawberry & Mango – This snack is a mix of dehydrated, non-GMO mangoes and strawberries with no added sugar or preservatives. I am planning to give this to a friend whose three year old will go to town on it!
  • Luna Bar Chocolate Coconut Almond & Lemon Vanilla – I like the Luna protein bars (but eat them only occasionally now that I don’t eat dairy often) and I was happy to have a chance to try some new flavors! I liked the Lemon Vanilla but it was a bit sweet for me. I know Chocolate Coconut Almond will be a new fave! I like the size and density of these bars and the fact that they taste better than many protein bars, too.
  • Nature’s Path Sunrise Cereal in Crunchy Vanilla – This cereal is gluten-free, low-fat and all natural. I have a backlog of open cereal and granolas so I have not tried it yet!
  • Numi Tea Sipping Broth in Tomato & Mint – This “tea” is actually a broth. I got these packs in a bunch of subscription boxes this winter. They are a great afternoon alternative to caffeinated beverages to warm you up. I add some pepper and voila! Delicious!
  • Torie & Howard Organic Hard Candy – I love hard candy and these are delicious and refreshing. They last a long time, too!
  • 3B Bags Reusable Produce Bag – This washable mesh drawstring bag is made for carrying produce instead of using plastic bags. I love that it folds into a small pouch that I can put in a pocket on the run. This will be super handy when the Green City market opens this weekend! YAY!
  • [Coupons] House Foods Shirataki Noodle & Back to the Roots Mushroom Kit – Shirataki noodles can be an acquired taste/texture. I like them and I love the idea of a mushroom growing kit. Even better, the folks at Bestowed included a great recipe to use both of these new things on their blog.

The April box was focused on eco-friendly, healthy foods and items for Earth Day. I liked all of the products I tried. I will be honest, this month did not have any new items I could “not live without” like they do some months! But, that said, it was a solid performance! You don’t have to trust me on this, you can enter to win one! Please use the Rafflecopter below. The giveaway is open to US residents, 18 and over and is void where prohibited. I am sending my April Bestowed box to one winner. The giveaway is not sponsored by Bestowed.
